Here is my completed quilted square for the charity quilt. Thank you to J. for doing the dull bits like cutting out and pinning and all the help and teaching - I would not have known where to start - nothing like doing the hexagons of my youth. My 'homework' was handed in last week so my bit is complete but the hard work starts for the lady putting them all together I guess. Not sure if I will be doing any more - well certainly not for some time, until I have completed some of my other projects.

Quilting Challenge
The lady who owns the shop where we have our needlework group twice per month is organizing the making of a quilt to be raffled for charity. She has asked people to make up a quilting square and these will then be joined together to make a quilt.
As it is for a good cause I naturally volunteered even though it seemed a far cry from the patchwork hexagons I did many years ago. So at the last get together I choose my (simple) square and fabric. My friend J. offered to help me with it. Here is the pattern, instructions and fabric before I set off this afternoon to J's to make my square.
Back later with the completed square.
